Bridge Of Spies – Review

I was unimpressed about this movie, for me it was just another failure form Steven Spielberg !

This true story is during the Cold War and it is about an american lawyer named Jim Donovan that is recruited to defend an arrested soviet spy and then help the CIA exchange that same spy with a pilot whose plane was shot down falling into the soviet territory.

To me it wasn’t that bad but the story was not captivating, I couldn’t care less about the characters and it was just so boring………. there were some good parts like the ones involving the soviets and some kind of gun or punishment, now I don’t want to be mean or sound like I am just one of those people who just likes the action and killing part in movies but unfortunately those are the only interesting ones in this case.

In conclusion, I am not saying that is total bad but it is not good either. I just think that is very tedious ! Definitely the weakest oscar nominee ! 😦

Nominated for : Best Picture, Best Actor In A Supporting Role ( Mark Rylance ), Best Music ( original score ), Best Production Design, Best Sound Mixing and Best Writing ( original screenplay ).

I rate : 6,7 / 10
